Amazing home made cakes, scones, pies and pasties. The pies were just out of the oven as we arrived. Wonderful, warm and friendly volunteers staff the hub. We loved it so much we went again the next day. A rare gem of a place.

We visited today for the first time on a bike ride and it was really excellent. Delicious soup, cheese scones, pear and ginger scones and flapjack, and really genuinely excellent coffee - both decaff and normal! Very friendly volunteers and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return!

We went walking at RSPB Geltsdale nearby and came across this wonderful inspiring place on our way home. The food and coffee we had was delicious and first rate and it was served in a really lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. If I lived nearby I’d be in here everyday! Also loved the gallery and brilliant shop- don’t miss this gem!!!!

Stopped off for a reviving cup of tea and some cake after a lovely walk round Geltsdale. Lovely cake and soup and really friendly service. The art wasn’t bad either.

A fantastic community hub run by volunteers. It is a great place to stop for a light bite, scones, cakes, sandwiches, soup and a roll. A good range of teas, coffee, and soft drinks. Plenty of seating (tables and chairs, and sofas), accessible, toilet including baby changing facilities. Limited parking at the actual venue, so parking safely nearby and walking recommend. The hub has a post office, library, art gallery, and a well stocked shop with a little bit of everything! Well worth supporting. It is an ideal place to meet friends and family for a catch-up.
